At Natural Relief, treatment begins with understanding how the body’s systems interact rather than focusing only on the site of discomfort.
Traditional Chinese Medicine views the body through interconnected channel systems that influence pain, digestion, sleep, hormonal balance, and emotional wellbeing. During each consultation, assessment includes pulse and tongue diagnosis alongside a detailed discussion of symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
Based on this assessment, treatment may incorporate several specialised methods including Balance Method acupuncture, motor point acupuncture, facial acupuncture techniques, herbal medicine, cupping, and gua sha.

Balance Method Acupuncture
Dr. Jasmine Mutar has completed training in the Balance Method system developed by the late Dr. Richard Tan, with fellowship instruction through Eileen Han and Sonia Tan.
This structured meridian balancing system is widely recognised for producing rapid improvements in pain and functional disorders through precise channel relationships.
Cosmetic & Facial Acupuncture
Jasmine has completed specialised training in cosmetic acupuncture with internationally recognised educators Michelle Gellis and Vivian Tan.
This treatment approach focuses on improving circulation, supporting collagen production, and addressing internal imbalances that influence skin health.
Motor Point Acupuncture
Jasmine has also completed training in motor point acupuncture with Rich Hazel, a technique that targets specific neuromuscular points within muscles to improve movement, relieve tension, and support musculoskeletal recovery.
Individualised Care at Natural Relief
At Natural Relief, treatment is never standardised or rushed. Each session is guided by careful observation, traditional diagnostic methods, and a detailed understanding of how different systems of the body interact.
Rather than simply treating the site of discomfort, care is focused on identifying the underlying patterns influencing your health. This allows treatment to address both immediate symptoms and the deeper imbalances that contribute to them.
Drawing on specialised training in Balance Method acupuncture, motor point acupuncture, and cosmetic facial acupuncture, treatments are selected with precision to suit each individual presentation.
Many patients come to Natural Relief after trying other treatments without lasting results. By combining classical Chinese medical theory with modern clinical understanding, care is designed to support gradual, meaningful improvements in wellbeing.
The goal is not only relief in the moment, but steady progress toward lasting balance and health.
"The essence of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to recognise that health is a state of harmony and balance, not just the absence of disease."
